Hello everyone,
It is me again, Todd!
I would like to know, are there any other popular bands in Italy today that sound like Prozac + ? I want to be addicted to more than one Italian band!

I recently went to the CD store and I checked out this CD called "Miele." Is anyone familiar with this CD or band name? If so, are they any good?

I am looking for more Italian bands to listen to, but because I live in America, I am at a disadvantage. Can anyone help me?

Thank you!

Amministratore-Thank you for the lovely list of popular Italian bands.

Tell me, do you know of "Miele?" If so, are they a decent band?

The type of music that I like is fast moving, with a lively rhythmic beat, much like Prozac +'s "Criminale." I love fast music with a nice tune. Do you know of any bands that play fast music with a lovely sound? Can you point out the bands on your list that play fast rock music?

Thank you so much for all of your help! I appreciate it! :)

ah Johnny e' come un super eroe! :)
Interviene "sempre" quando c'e' bisogno di lui! :)
Spero per Todd che con la canzone "Miele" non si riferisse ad un certo Gigi D'Alessio!! Ahhhhhhhh!

In Italy there are some good bands but for me the band that is near the sound of prozac+ is "Marysun!Nicotina" from Cremona. They have do a lit of concert with prozac+ and they are very good. They are near prozac+ because you can't define very well the music genere. Like prozac+ they have a personal music genere thet no one has!
Bye, Pavo

Marta-Ah, I will definitely check them out in the near future on one of my downloading programs. I love Kazaa lite! ^_^
I believe the word you are looking for is genre. Heehee.

ALaNThank you for the suggestion. They are definitely on my list of "Italian bands to download on my program," list. Do you have any particular albums or songs of theirs you'd like to recommend to me? It would narrow down my search.

Pavohome-Wow, thank you for pointing out another unique band for me. I am going to listen to Marysun!Nicotina by Cremona on Kazaa lite this week. Thank you for narrowing down my search a little bit. As you can tell, I have many different bands on my list, and I have to look through all of them for songs that I like. Ack! It's a difficult life! [lots of laughs] Thanks again!

Manu +-Haha, I'm so happy you pointed out the talent of Miele. It doesn't seem like anyone else knows about the group, and I'm happy you can point out the fact that you not only know them, but you think their talent is well...shit. I haven't heard them personally, I've only seen the cover of their album and that woman with the red hair looked neat! I love female singers more than I love male singers, for some odd reason. I will definitely forget about Miele....

Thank you for the list! Do you have any specific songs that you'd like me to listen to? I really need to narrow my search down a little bit....

Here are the bands in which I am going to download eventually on Kazaa lite:

Cremona
Moravagine
Shandon
Nagazione
Wretched
Carmen Consoli
Fluxus
Uzeda
Punkreas
Verdena
Bugo
Meganoidi

and...
Bluvertigo

This will obviously take me awhile but I am willing to do whatever it takes to find music that I like :)
If there's anyone on this message board who would like to narrow down my searches by recommending specific songs, I would greatly appreciate the help! I need all the help I can get, heehee! And can anyone point out the female singers on my list of songs to download? If there are any....?

Anyway, thank you all for your imput. You all have been extremely helpful and I greatly appreciate everything!

I went to the CD store today and I saw this cool CD album cover entitled:
"Piccolo Intervento a Vivo"

I think the band's name is:
"Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti"
Or maybe I have the names mixed up. Maybe the title of the album is "Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti."

Anyway, does anyone know of this band? If so, would you consider them a decent band? Do you think I would like them?

Thank you all for taking the time to respond to me! :)

4 notte: i know Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, and I also saw them last year during a concert in Bologna, but I don't like them, they're nothing special...
Anyway, the best songs written by Moravagine are Vizi, Stai con me, Padre polacco; I think that on Kazaa you'll find only "Vizi", but on Audiogalaxy there are all the songs. See you

Moravagine is the most recommended band in this topic. Can anyone recommend a particular album or song from this band?

Also, Does anyone know where I can purchase CDS from Italy? My CD store does not seem to have any of the bands all of you have recommended so I am going to have to order online. Can anyone recommend any online import/export stores?

Thanks!

About Moravagine:
In september they've published the new album "Ho scritto ti amo sulla sabbia del gatto". For me is very good. There are 15 songs and 3 videos. I don't know any site for import/export but for more information you can go to www.moravagine.it
Bye!

IceShaft-Yes, unfortunately, I cannot find many Italian CDs here, that I would love to listen to. I'm sorry you can't find American CDs. You're absolutely right, the world is the same...it's just not fair though.

Which American bands are popular in Italy? [just curious] [:01]

Hmmm....it's too bad people do not make an International CD store online. It would be so successful.

The most famous american punk/alternative bands are bands from epitath or fat wreck, like NOFX, Bad Religion, Lagwagon...

ALaN-Wow, I have never heard of any of those bands.

Is System of a Down popular in Italy?
How about Korn? Slipknot?

I know there are a few American rock bands extremely popular in Europe but I'm not quite sure. Many of the French absolutely love Slipknot and a rapper named "Ja Rule." I spoke with a person from Sweden and he really loves System of a Down.

Hmmm..it's too bad I have no direct access to Italian CDs. I guess I will have to wait until college when I am given the chance to study abroad in Florence.

Did I mention that I would like to learn Italian? The only problem is my High School does not have a course for the language.

I recently wrote an article on why Italian should be a given course in my High School. I hope my article brings some discussion and debate. I love Italian [and I'm not saying this just because I am half Italian]! I would love to learn the language and become bilingual like many of you members on this message board are

It's just a shame that my school does not offer the language. Life isn't fair.

Neat! It's nice to know that some people like the bands that I like! :) I love System of a Down and Rammstein! These two bands have great singers!

I finally got around to listening to Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti's latest "piccolo Album." Alan is right, I don't think they are anything special. Their first song is the best song on the whole album...and everything else sounds the same.

I am still looking for a place where I can buy Moravagine's albums, but I haven't found anything! It drives me loco! Estoy loco!

Ah well, if any of you know of any places where I can buy a Moravagine album, please let me know. Moravagine.it does not have an open store yet....I hope they open it soon.

Anyway, thank you all for responding. It's nice to see people influenced by rock & roll of all nature. Hope to speak with all of you soon!
